BODY PERCUSION
In this engaging and enjoyable workshop, participants learn how to make music using just their bodies. Students will slap, clap, click and stomp out some fantastic rhythms in this hands-on exciting masterclass! An excellent exercise in musical creativity, without the price-tag of expensive instruments!
JUNK DRUMMING
In this insightful workshop, students will learn how to transform any item from the kitchen, office or junkyard, into a musical instrument! Students are encouraged to bring one item from their household, and witness it come to life in this fun-filled lesson.
HIP HOP DANCING
In this energetic workshop, participants will be given an introduction to hip-hop dancing, which is always popular with younger crowds. Reluctant males will not be an issue with such fashionable styles of dance, especially with two inspiring male teachers with a fresh approach that caters for all abilities.
ABOUT
The REPERCUSSION workshops cater for up to 400 participants, with the focus to teach music and dance without students relying on expensive equipment. The workshops allow attendees to experience Body Percussion, Junk Drumming and Hip Hop Dancing first hand, with a strong focus on enabling students to continue these activities beyond the workshops. The artists giving the workshops are all experienced teachers, and are passionate about sharing their art forms with local youth, and inspiring & enabling participants to enjoy music and dance for years to come!
