Gene Peterson - Director

Onyx Productions founder, Gene Peterson, has quickly cemented his name as one of Australia's leading producers. Premiering his first production in 2006, he has since toured his shows extensively through Australia and internationally through Europe, Asia and The Middle East, and has completed more than 20 tours in the past 4 years. He has featured at major festivals such as the Sibiu International Theatre Festival, the Singapore Arts Festival, the Holland Dance Festival, the Adelaide Fringe Festival and the Brisbane Festival (to name a few), and is renowned for his fresh and exciting approach to live performance.

Alena Velikova - Touring Co-ordinater/Tour Manager/Accounts

Having worked as Tour manager on all ‘Gene Peterson Live’ & ‘Loop the Loop’ tours in 2010 & 2011, Alena has the experience to take on the coordination of all future Onyx touring. Alena is an invaluable asset to Onyx, also doubling up as Stage Manager, Lighting Operator and Translator (speaking fluent German, Russian, Ukranian, Bulgarian and English!) which will no doubt assist with our international touring. In addition, Alena also takes care of all accounting and admin!

Adam Cocks - Marketing Manager

Onyx is excited to welcome Adam to the team, having worked with Adam on several occasions in the past. Adam has a vast experience in marketing, and his knowledge of the industry will prove vital in further marketing future tours.

Brett Doig - Technical Manager

Having toured as sound technician, lighting technician and also touring manager, for a host of Australian and international artists (including the Hilltop Hoods & The Audreys) Brett possesses a wealth of experience in the industry. Brett also doubles up as a recording engineer and has recorded, mixed and mastered the audio for the 'Loop the Loop' live DVD.
